AP tests

I have survived two very intense days. Well actually the second one isn't quite finished, but I doubt that anything really strenuous is going to happen between now and the time I go to bed. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Yesterday was AP calc. Long, tiring, intense, and hard. Maybe a 3, hopefully a 4. Could go either way. Today was AP lit and composition. Probably a 3. I wasn't nearly as well prepared for that class as I was for the calc test. For calc we were assigned 4 sets of free response papers and three sets of multiple choice problems. For lit, we glanced at one set of multiple choice problems without actually having access to the answers or explanations and we did maybe 2 sets of free response papers before hand only checking one of our essays. This past year I had homework every day with possibly 10 exceptions. AP lit we had to read several books. No discussion time or feedback or homework or anything. The only reason that I might get a decent score on the lit test is because I have studied English for the past 18 and a half years now while I have only had one year of Calc. Bah. I don't like my lit teacher. Oh well. That's over with now so I should have an extra 2 periods free come the start of the new week.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on completing the APs. My sister is taking one at this very moment, so oh well. Cannot wait for you to get to the states, even if you'll be ridiculously busy with driving, etc.

I'm so proud of you. . .finishing the APs. Now you have FREE TIME. In Chinese we would say "Ni xianzai you kong." Aren't you proud? I can say a complete sentence in Chinese.

Actually, you won't really have that much more free time, because you'll be spending ALL of it on your research project. Hehe... How many people were there in calc this year? 5?

there were 4 people in Calc this year. It was almost funny. Bad things happened in that test this year to other people. I missed both problems on related rates but I don't think it will hurt my grade 2 much. Research is going to kill me. I am looking forwards to being in America this summer 2 big time.

Congratulations! I have always wanted to learn chinese... Not. Arabic is more than enough for me.

Chinese is fun. I'm actually not too bad at it. I don't know why. I still revert to arabic in my head sometimes though.
Good luck with the research.

-Greetings, remember me. You may be happy about comming to our lovely country, but that means that the tangled web which I have wove will draw tighter about you. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
-You still do not know who I am, but you better hurry to find out, time's running out.

I can see from your lack of posting that this week has indeed not been as relaxing as expected. =)

PS: Tangled web which you have wove? The correct verb form is "woved." Seriously.

Christina said...

No, it's "woven". "Woved"? Come on.

I think I must agree with Chirstina on this one talle, but it was a good attempt. Um Phantom, you aren't the only one with a secret identity. Plus, how afraid should I be of someone who can't conjugate verbs?

Seriously guys, did you not notice the sarcasm there? I even added "seriously" so you'd know I was joking. I wouldn't pick a fight with someone I've never met over a little wove. Come on, give me a little credit here, I can conjugate verbs with the best of them.

-Tent, in Hebrew. (only Andrew will get this)

Christina said...

I'd pick a fight with someone I never met before....but that's just me. I'm sure you can conjugate verbs...but I can do 'em in Latin too!!!!!

Graham said...

Yes, you can conjugate things in french as well if my memory serves my right talle. Hense the "nice try though."

congratulations phantom. you have managed to make a remark that only Andrew will get. To show that it isn't all that hard, Only Talle can tell me what we did with sparklers, magnesium, Some "borrowed" iron iii oxide and ground up aluminum foil.

I love a good fight. Doesn't matter who with.

I like argueing. You can actually have an arguement without speaking unbiblically to each other and it boosts your logic.

Anonymous said...

I don't like argueing. In fact, I disagree that you can have an arguement without speaking unbiblically to someone else, and as I result I never argue with anyone.

...

PS: Because you missed it last time, I will point out that this is a mildy sarcastic joke. Clearly, I am argueing with christina (whoever you may be), thus contradicting the main thrust of my arguement. Haha, so funny.

I suspect almost everyone who knows you knows what you did with thermite Graham...you were kinda hyped about it at the time.

Graham said...

yes, well, our dear phantom doesn't knowt that.

I think I am feeling a little more stupid than I normally do. I did get that joke though talle...

I had sooo much fun at Andrew's last night! He says "hi" back.

Taliesen - you can conjugate verbs just fine, but in a later post you typed the word "separate" as "seperate".

I never expected to catch you on a spelling mistake!
