The End of the Beginning, and the Beginning of the End

Well folks, that was the last day of our first week of school. Guess what? I'm dying. By the end of the school year (just another 172 days away) I am going to have lost it completely and will be terminally insane. Despite all that, I am learning how to play classical guitar. While practice is boring, the results are quite exciting. I may actually become something of a proficient musician by the time I die, or loose it, whichever comes first. Looking at the year, chances are leaning strongly to the latter.

since you are already terminally insane, my guess would be that you will die first.

Ouch, have a little sympathy for someone in the throes of vicious despondancy. What in particular is so bad about this last little part of school, I wonder? Is there one thing in particular? Or is it a sort of gestalt effect created by one too many teachers with a little too much time on their hands? Whatever it is, I'm sure you can stand it.

(Why, that's what I live for, that's why I'm a bandit...)

oh dear. don't die on us! school can seem enough cruel enough to kill, but keep in mind that you are almost free of the terror of highschool. next, you get to paar-tay in college! well...maybe not. but it's a nice thought, huh? ;-)

classical guitar is cool. you should record some of the stuff you do sometime.

I guess I'm just being a bit melodramatic, I've just never been asked to do so much busy work, which is most of it I think, inexperienced teachers feel guilty if they don't assign homework even if it is worthless and pointless. Mr. Schafer knew how to assign homework, as does Mr. V and Mr. Hamish, but Mr. George takes a shot gun aproach. No fun for the reciever.

It is great to have the affermation of so many freinds though, especially Jeffrey and Phantom...lol.

When it comes to classical guitar, I am only just starting. While I have a head start being a folk guitarist it is almost like learning a new instrument that can morph into the instrument u know how to play. Very strange. I doubt I'll be recording anything soon, but if I do I will see what I can do to get it too you.
